Tigers defeated by Mt. Lebanon, 2-0
North Allegheny hosted the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils on Thursday night at North Allegheny Intermediate High School in a Section 1-3A match. The Blue Devils would get on the board early and hold on in the second half to come away with a 2-0 victory over the Tigers.
Mt. Lebanon would score just over two minutes into the first quarter, and then added another one with 37 seconds remaining in the first half. Kayla Joyce made eight saves for the Tigers in net.
North Allegheny falls to 3-7 overall and 2-3 in section play. Mt. Lebanon improves to 7-1 overall and 5-1 in the section. The Tigers will be back in action on Saturday when they travel to Ohio to take on Magnificat at 11:00 a.m.
