Tigers Drop Final Tune-Up Game Before WPIAL Playoffs

The North Allegheny boys’ lacrosse team rounded out the regular season schedule with a 12-10 non-section loss to Peters Township on Friday night. The Tigers and Indians were tied 10-10 going into the fourth quarter, but PT scored the only two goals of the final stanza to earn the victory.

North Allegheny was led by Teddy Ednaczyk who netted five goals on the night. Other Tiger goal scorers included Kyle Rullan, Will Petragia, Zech Nachazel, Wes Powell and Gavin Hagen. Goalie Will Rahenkamp made 12 saves for the Tigers in net.

North Allegheny ends the regular season with a 13-3 overall record.  The Tigers are the top-seed in the upcoming WPIAL playoffs and host the Sewickley Academy Panthers on Thursday, May 14 at 7:00 pm from Newman Stadium.
