Tigers finish section play strong with win over New Castle
North Allegheny hosted the New Castle Hurricanes in the final section match of the season on Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers were able to add another mark in the win column with a 175-205 victory.
NA was led by senior Chris Hoffman who shot a four-under par 32. Adding to the victory was a two-under par 34 from junior Ravi Desai, a one-under par 35 from junior Colin Ward, and an even par 36 from junior Liam Cooper. Preston Troiano rounded out the scoring with a 38.
New Castle was led by a pair of 39’s from Phillip Lorenzo and Justin Girman.
North Allegheny improves to 15-2 overall and finishes section play with an 11-1 record. New Castle falls to 0-13 overall and 0-11 in the section. The Tigers practice tomorrow before traveling to the Pittsburgh Field Club to participate in the Fox Chapel Invitational at 4:00 p.m.
