Tigers Pounce On Panthers, 3-1
The North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team claimed a 3-1 non-section win at Upper St. Clair on Monday night. The Tigers earned the victory by set scores 25-22, 25-10, 22-25 and 25-17.
Leading the way offensively was senior Hannah Phillips with 11 kills. Senior Maddi Curran tallied seven kills, followed by Maddy Beer, Rachel Burton and Carissa Treser with five kills each.
Defensively, senior Malia Duffy totaled 20 digs. Senior Abby Miller posted eight digs, to go along with nine kills, three aces and 16 assists.
North Allegheny improves to 11-0 overall with its 58th consecutive victory. The Tigers will host North Hills on Tuesday night on Middle School Recognition Night and Pink Out Night at NASH.
