Tigers punish Panthers
North Allegheny hosted long time non-section rival Franklin Regional in a heated battle at North Park on Tuesday afternoon. The Tigers won the non-section match 179-190. Tuesday was also senior day for the Tigers.
Junior Ravi Desai led the charge for NA with a 4-under par 32. The seniors who were celebrated did not disappoint as Chris Hoffman and Charlie Burbick each chipped in a pair of even par 36’s. Juniors Preston Troiano and Liam Cooper carded a 37 and 38 respectively.
North Allegheny improves to 13-2 overall. Franklin Regional falls to 8-3 overall. The Tigers return to action tomorrow when they head to Treesdale Country Club to take on the second place Rams of Pine-Richland (6-3 in section) at 4:00 p.m.
