Tigers rally against Raiders
North Allegheny traveled to Seneca Valley on Monday afternoon to do battle with the Raiders in a Section 2-3A matchup. The Tigers played well and came away with a 4-1 victory over Seneca Valley.
NA swept the singles matches with Mia Kaufman defeating Alaina Brady 6-2, 6-1, Audrey Zheng making quick work of Cady Shea 6-1, 6-2, and Kailtyn Zeman winning 6-2, 6-3 over Anna Coon.
The duo of Remi Hayward and Kelly Tai won No. 2 doubles over Emily Merola and Hannah Kengon 6-1, 6-0.
North Allegheny improves to 9-3 overall and 6-0 in the section. Seneca Valley falls to 5-6 overall and 3-3 in section play. The Tigers will be back in action on Wednesday when they host the first day of the WPIAL Singles tournament.
