Tigers take down Tornado

North Allegheny hosted the Butler Golden Tornado at North Park Golf Course on Friday afternoon in their second section match of the season. The Tigers earned their second section win with a 186-191 triumph over the Golden Tornado.
NA was led by a pair of even par 36s from senior Chris Hoffman and junior Preston Troiano. Chipping in to secure the victory was Charlie Burbick‘s 37, a 38 from junior Ravi Desai and a 39 from Liam Cooper.
Butler was led by Anthony Trombatt’s 2-under par 34.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 5-0 overall and 2-0 in section play. Butler falls to 0-3 overall and in the section. The Tigers will return to action on Tuesday, when the team heads to Cranberry Highlands to challenge Seneca Valley at 3:30 p.m.
