Tigers Top Titans In Section Opener
The North Allegheny boys’ golf team hosted the Shaler Titans at North Park Golf Course on Monday and prevailed for a 199-251 victory. On a beautiful afternoon, the Tigers won the section opener with a strong day from senior Ryan Meyer who delivered an even par-36.
NA received support in the 52-shot win from Teague Urban, who shot a 39. Scott Fitzgerald posted a 40, Phillip Beer carded a 41 and Adam Hendrickson added a 43. Shaler was paced by Zach Hornon’s 41.
North Allegheny improves to 2-0 on the season and 1-0 in section play. The Tigers will host Mt. Lebanon on Tuesday in non-section action.
