Tigers tripped up by Lions
North Allegheny traveled to Hickory Heights Golf Course to play a non-section match against a South Fayette squad that was also undefeated. The Tigers fought the Lions but the home course advantage played true as NA dropped a 190-191 heartbreaker to the Lions on Monday afternoon.
NA was led by junior Ravi Desai who shot a 1-under par 35. Adding to the scoring was senior Chris Hoffman’s even 36, junior Colin Ward’s 38, senior Charlie Burbick’s 40 and junior Preston Troiano’s 42.
South Fayette was led by Sam Bishop’s 36.
North Allegheny falls to 7-1 overall. South Fayette improves to 5-0. The Tigers are back on the road tomorrow when they head to Saxon Golf Course to challenge the Knoch Knights in a section match at 3:00 p.m.
