Tigers Use Big Second Half To Burn Blue Devils, 75-60

Four Tigers totaled double digits as North Allegheny picked up a 75-60 non-section win over the Mt. Lebanon Blue Devils on Tuesday night. NA trailed 35-30 at halftime before catching fire in the second half. The Tigers shot 50-percent from the field in the second half and were paced by sophomore Curtis Aiken who netted a team-high 22 points.  Senior Keegan Phillips followed closely behind with a 21 point night, pouring in 3 of 6 shots from beyond the arc.

Joining Aiken and Phillips in double figures were Ray Sandherr and Luke Carter who finished with 11 and 10 points, respectively. Like Phillips, Carter dropped in 3 of 6 from three-point land. Mt. Lebanon was led by Mark Lamendola who scored a game-high 24 points and corralled nine rebounds in a losing effort.

North Allegheny improves to 2-1 overall with the victory. Mt. Lebanon dips to 1-2 on the season. The Tigers visit Shaler on Friday night in the Section 3-AAAA opener.
