Tigers Vanquish Golden Tornado For Section Win
The top-ranked North Allegheny girls’ volleyball team continued its winning ways on Thursday night with a dominant victory over Butler, 3-0, in Section 1-AAAA action. The Tigers won by set scores of 25-12, 25-12 and 25-7.
In a great team effort, 11 different players tallied kills and eight Tigers had five digs or more. Kayla Dinkins and Mika Logan were the team leaders in kills in a fantastic all-around effort by the Tigers.
North Allegheny jumps to 8-0 overall and 4-0 in section play. Butler slips to 1-3 in the section. The Lady Tigers return to action on Tuesday night with a visit to last-place North Hills.
