Tigers Wade Past Pine-Richland, 207-208
Playing on a soaked course after a pounding rain storm, the North Allegheny Boys Golf Team edged the Pine-Richland Rams on Wednesday afternoon, 207-208. Because of three lightning delays prior to the match, and another delay during, the Tigers had to finish their victory in darkness. However, the win made it worth the wait as Mike Sudo paced NA with a 39. Josh Huhn, Ryan Dougherty and Connor Gingrich all scored 41’s. Martin Lazzaro followed with a 45 and David Mrazik finished with a 47. Nick Lowry notched the best score for the losing Rams with a 40.
North Allegheny boasts a record of 6-1 overall and 5-1 in section play following the win. North Allegheny has a home match Thursday afternoon against Seneca Valley. Tee-time is slated for 3:30 pm.
