Tigers Win 5th In A Row With Triumph Over Tribe
With their lowest score of the season to this point, the North Allegheny boys’ golf team opened the second half of the season with a 158-178 section win over North Hills.
On a balmy afternoon at Clover Hill Golf Course, sophomores Ravi Desai and Colin Ward led the way by each shooting a 2-under par 30. Seniors Colin Rende and Jake Watterson helped secure the win with a pair of even-par 32’s. Junior Chris Hoffman rounded out the winning effort with a 34. North Hills was paced by Thomas Rowe with a score of 32 for the host Indians.
North Allegheny leaps to 10-1 overall and 5-1 in section play. The Tigers will return to action on Thursday for a section contest against Pine-Richland.
