Back at home, the North Allegheny bowling team split against the Shaler Titans at Perry Park Lanes in McCandless. The NA boys’ team enjoyed being back at home, winning by over 640 pins and taking all seven match points. NA qualified as the 7th highest scoring team this week, out of the 51 teams in the WPIBL, knocking over 2895 pins. Sophomore Alex Cook and junior Griffin McVay led the Tigers with 606 and 600 pins, respectively.  This was a personal best for McVay.

Junior Matt Secen rolled two games over 200 (224 and 210).  In addition to Secen, Alex Cook (238), McVay (217), Ben Steffey (212), and T.J. Robinson (215) were able to throw games over 200 pins.

The Lady Tigers fell, 4-3, to Shaler in a nail-biting last game, losing by just two pins. There were several outstanding performances.  Senior Allison Frank led the way with a 519 series and a high game of 214.  Senior Lily Stuijfzand had a high game of 165 and rookie Autumn Baldwin made an impression with a high score of 145. The Lady Tigers sit at 2-4 on the season.
