NA Girls’ Golf Tops Shaler
The North Allegheny Girls’ Golf Team earned a 209-226 victory over Shaler on Friday afternoon. Under perfect conditions at Shannopin Country Club, birdies by Megan Leto and Rani Pietryzk highlighted the win over the Titans.
Leto led the scorecard with 45 strokes and Sophie Lee followed closely behind with a 47. Jesse Pak added a 58, and Megan Walsh and Rachel Sudo each contributed scores of 59 apiece. Shaler’s Natalie Alot was the team leader for the visitors with a score of 48.
With the win, North Allegheny jumps to 5-1-1 overall and 1-1 in section play. The Lady Tigers return to action on Wednesday afternoon in a non-section contest with Upper St. Clair. Tee time at Shannopin is slated for 3:30 pm.
