NA picks up win over Mars in section opener
North Allegheny had their home opener and section opener on Tuesday afternoon against the Mars Fighting Planets at Diamond Run Golf Course. The Tigers rolled to a 177-187 victory to pick up their first win of the season.
Kirsten Karlovits led NA shooting a 42. Kayli Dings and Omisa Shah each tallied 44s while Taylor Rittler added a 47. Alessandra Habib contributed with a 49.
Elise Wandas was the best scorer for Mars with a 42.
North Allegheny improves to 1-0-1 overall and 1-0 in section play. The Tigers are back at Diamond Run today when they host Peters Township at 3:30 p.m. in non-section action.
