Kirsten Karlovits cards hole-in-one in win over Shaler
North Allegheny hosted the Shaler Titans at Diamond Run Golf Course on Thursday afternoon in a section matchup. Shaler did not have enough players so the Tigers officially won the match by forfeit. But NA still took the course and shot a 171 as a team.
Kayli Dings shot a 2-under-par 34. Kirsten Karlovits added a 44 while Taylor Rittler was a stroke behind at 45. Alessandra Habib carded a 48 and Grace Means carded a 52.
NA picked up their second hole-in-one of the season, this time from Karlovits who used a 8-iron on Diamond Run’s par-3 fifth hole from 117 yards out.
North Allegheny improves to 12-0-1 and 11-0 in the section. Shaler falls to 1-10 overall and in the section. The Tigers return to action this weekend when they travel to Erie, PA to take part of the Erie McDowell Invitational on Saturday and Sunday.
