Bowling sweeps Bishop Canevin

Boys 

The NA boys swept Bishop Canevin 3 games to 0, with a total pin count win of 2,613 to 2,159.  

The Tigers came out strong in game 1, with Seojin Oh scoring a 182 and Nathan Phillips putting up a 180 towards a 843-732 win. Game 2 was NA’s highest pin total of the match, winning 927-652.  Oh had a 205-game followed up by Sai Gunapalli with a 196, including two split conversions. NA won game 3, 843-775, with Oh putting up a 181-game, giving him the high series of the day with a 568.  Other high games for North Allegheny included Luke Rohan with a 235, Parker Wolff with a 234, Brendan Moore with a 212 and Aiden Austin with a 207.  

The Tigers return after winter break to travel to Paradise Lanes on January 7, taking on Nazareth Prep in a section match. 

Girls

The Lady Tigers final match of 2025 was easily won for the girls team defeating Bishop Canevin. North Allegheny was able to knock down 1515 pins for the match while Bishop Canevin posted a 689 pinfall count.

Once again, junior Jordan Phillips led the team with 115, 146, and finished with a 152-game for a series of 413. She was aided in the match by sophomore Colbie Edmond with a 114 and sophomore Aarna Desai opening the day with a 110-game.

Currently, Jordan Phillips is holding the high average for the West Section of the WPIBL with a 137 average.
