Jordan Phillips wins WPIBL West Section MVP; qualifies for Western Regional

Junior Jordan Phillips competed on Thursday in the WPIBL Girls Singles Championship held at Mt Lebanon Lanes. Phillips had a great day throwing a 453 series consisting of games of 170, 137 and 146 on a difficult, low scoring challenge oil pattern. Her total pin count put Phillips averaging about 8 pins over her season average of 143.
Before the event Phillips was awarded with the MVP for the West Section of the WPIBL. This protected Phillips and gave her a bye into the Western Regional Tournament, however Phillip’s scores at the WPIBL Girls Singles Championship qualified her in the traditional manner.
