Tigers extend winning streak with victory over Ellis School

The Lady Tigers kept their momentum rolling, delivering a defensive clinic in a 39-6 victory over the Ellis Tigers. The win marks another notch in their impressive streak, fueled by a balanced offensive attack and a no-fly zone secondary.
The offense was a true team effort, with seven different players finding their way into the scoring column. The veteran leadership of the seniors set the tone, while the underclassmen gave us a glimpse of what is to come:
Seniors: Luci Zagacki, Mia Bosley, and Vange Balouris.
Sophomore: Giuliana Bontempo.
Freshman Trio: Macy Sundgren, Ella Brinkley, and Bella Devennie.
Defensively, the Lady Tigers were relentless. Sophomore Brynn Hughey and Vange Balouris anchored the unit, leading the team with four tackles apiece.
The highlight of the night, however, was the secondary’s ability to neutralize Ellis’ passing game. Despite facing a strong-armed quarterback, the Lady Tigers’ defense snagged five interceptions to keep Ellis grounded:
Luci Zagacki: 2 INTs
Mia Bosley: 1 INT
Ella Brinkley: 1 INT
Natalie Smalley: 1 INT
The Lady Tigers look to keep the streak alive tomorrow as they host Nazareth Prep. Kickoff is set for 6:00 PM at Newman Stadium.
