Girls Golf opens season with win over Ambridge
North Allegheny traveled to Fox Run Golf Course to take on Ambridge in a section matchup on Monday afternoon. The Tigers got the season off to a good start defeating the Bridgers by a score of 189-236.
Taylor Rittler led the way for NA with a 42. Seohye Park had a 45. Aarya Shamkuwar and Mia Ackerman each added 51s while Madeline Olmstead scored a 54.
Ambridge was led by Evie Bogati who carded a 54.
North Allegheny improves to 1-0 overall and in the section. The Tigers continue section play on Thursday when they travel to Conley’s Golf Course to battle the Pine-Richland Rams at 3:45 p.m.
