North Allegheny defeats Mars to split season series
North Allegheny hosted the Mars Fighting Planets on Tuesday afternoon at Diamond Run Golf Course. After falling to the Fighting Planets the first time around, the Tigers bounced back at home to defeat Mars by a score of 178-191.
Taylor Rittler led NA with a 40. Seohye Park carded a 43 while Mia Ackerman scored a 47. Maddie Olmstead and Aarya Shamkuwar had a 48 and 55 respectively.
Mars was led by Elise Wadas who shot a 40.
North Allegheny improves to 4-3 overall and in the section and now moves into a tie for second-place with the win. The Tigers are back in action today when they travel to Hiland Golf Course to take on the Butler Golden Tornado at 1:30 p.m.
