About UBO

WELCOME TO UBO

The North Allegheny UBO was formed in the 1990-1991 school year. The UBO is under the umbrella of the Athletic Department and, through its membership, the UBO continues to work toward new ways to support unity and pride. The formation of the UBO welcomes representation of all the various groups within the District. The UBO promotes communication among the numerous NA Boosters, Sports Teams, PTA/PFA/PTO school groups, Principal’s key communicator school groups and community groups. This unification works to enhance school spirit and community pride.

Thank you for making the commitment to represent your organization at our meetings! Please remember as a UBO representative, it is vital that you (or an alternate designated by you) attend each meeting. You are the representative for your group for the 2025-2026 school year, regardless of the season(s) of your group’s participation.

As the Unified Booster Organization, our philosophy is “What can we as a unified organization do to build a better sense of community, school spirit, cooperation and communication in the district?”  The results of this “building” will positively impact your sport/activity as well as others. We welcome your ideas for projects/events that would further this purpose. Your willingness to help makes a world of difference! If everyone can assist, we can make a positive difference!

Meetings are held at the Baierl Center in the Ponce Room on the following dates.

September 10th, November 121h, February 11th @ 6:30 P.M. and April 25th. @ 9:00 A.M.

As a member of the Unified Booster Organization, you are a link for communication between your organization and the UBO.

Your responsibilities as UBO representative include:

  1. Keeping your group/parents and Booster President informed about UBO projects/events via email or at your group’s meetings.
  2. Share information about your organization with other UBO representatives by presenting a report at one UBO meeting.
  3. Participate in all UBO projects and events.
  4. Distribute All-Scholar Athlete Award certificates and shirts in a timely manner to students.
  5. Inform your seniors of UBO scholarships.

You have the opportunity to:

  1. Hear information updates, from the Athletic Director, on current and future issues and events in NA athletics, to share with your members.
  2. Amplify announcements of your organizations fundraisers by having all UBO representatives forward your fundraising information to each family in their membership.
  3. Receive ideas and information from the other NA organizations regarding their success and challenges with booster operations, including banquets, fundraisers, camps, fees, team photographers and more.
