Tigers Take 7th Place At McDowell Invitational
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team spent the weekend in Erie for the McDowell Invitational and came away with a seventh-place finish out of 12 teams competing at the event. Reigning WPIAL champion Peters Township took first place with a team scorerof 454.
The Lady Tigers totaled at team score of 512 at the two-day invitational at Downing Golf Course. Sophomore Kayli Dings and senior Megan Manesiotis each shot a 167, with an 84 in day one and an 83 in day two. Senior Amber Roth shot a 178 and sophomore Kirsten Karlovits posted a 194. The top three scores counted toward the North Allegheny team score.
North Allegheny returns to section play on Monday against Pine-Richland at Conley’s Golf Course.
