Butler Bounces NA Bowlers
The Butler Golden Tornado swept the North Allegheny bowling team, defeating the boys’ and girls’ team by the same score, 7-0. New lane conditions proved to be a struggle that the NA boys bowling team could not overcome. Their record drops to 3-1 and are currently in second place behind Butler (4-0). Max Micucci led all NA bowlers with a 533 Series, and a 178 average. Griffin McVay (237) and Micucci (204) were the only North Allegheny bowlers to break through with games over 200 pins.
For the Lady Tigers, senior Allison Frank had the high series of 491, senior Lily Stuijfzand had the high game of the night with a 188. Senior Carly Kovalchik also had a very strong game with a 181. Freshman rookie Julia Jorden made a strong showing with a 130 and 137. The Lady Tigers slip to 1-3 on the season.
