
Caroline Henderson Named Liberty League Rookie Of The Year

Former North Allegheny girls’ basketball standout Caroline Henderson has been honored after her terrific freshman campaign at RIT.
The guard was named Liberty League Women’s Basketball Rookie of the Year along with second-team all-conference laurels on Tuesday.
Henderson led the conference in both three-point field goal shooting percentage (.424) and three-point field goals made (72). Nationally, Henderson ranks 16th in Division III in three-point field goal shooting percentage and 21st in three-point field goals made. Her 72 three-pointers made this season is also a program record.
The NA alum led RIT this season with 13.0 points per game after starting all 27 games, averaging 31.6 minutes per contest.
