Young started at second base for Seattle, which hosted the Minnesota Twins at T-Mobile Park. The former first-round pick’s family was in attendance for the moment.
Cool moment for North Allegheny grad Cole Young, who gets a big ovation from the Seattle crowd as he steps to the plate for his first MLB at-bat. Swung at the first pitch he saw and flew out to right. Big things expected out of the 21-year old. #WPIALpic.twitter.com/iRDcx6pHiu
