Cole Young Hits Game-Winning Home Run Back In Pittsburgh

North Allegheny baseball alum and current Seattle Mariners second baseman Cole Young made his anticipated return to Pittsburgh for the first time in his professional career. In his first game ever at PNC Park, Young ended up with the game-winning two-run homer to seal the 3-2 win for Seattle.

Young was able to catch up with former head coach Andrew Heck and other members of the NA Athletic Department during pregame batting practice. Many members of Young’s family and friends made it out to the game, showing their support.

In the top of the seventh inning, Young drove a pitch off of Mitch Keller into the right field stands to give the Mariners the lead for the first time in the contest.
