Colman Craft Earns Spot On USILA Team of the Week

Former North Allegheny multi-sport athlete and current Hobart Men’s Lacrosse freshman Colman Craft is already turning heads at the collegiate level.
Tuesday, he was named to the USILA Division I Team of the Week.

Craft recorded a total of eight caused turnovers and five ground balls over two games last week. At then No. 3 Cornell, he registered five caused turnovers, one off the Hobart game record. He closed out the week with three caused turnovers and three ground balls as Hobart pitched a second-half shutout against Robert Morris.
Through five games, Craft leads Hobart with 17 caused turnovers, which is tied for seventh on Hobart’s single-season list. He is first in the nation in ground balls per game, averaging 3.4.
Craft was a four-year varsity letter winner and starter for the Tigers boys’ lacrosse team, playing long-stick midfielder and close defense. He holds the program record for caused turnovers. In 2025, he was a USA Lacrosse All-American while earning All-MSLA, all-section, and All-WPIAL twice during his time at NA. Craft was named team MVP as a senior and team defense MVP as a junior. He recorded a career-high 17 points (11g,6a) while winning 59% of his faceoffs as a senior. He had a career-high 103 ground balls and caused a record 52 turnovers as a junior.
Craft was also a two-time WPIAL Champion with the North Allegheny football team as a standout wide receiver.
