By: Jared Barton
Former North Allegheny Track and Field member Alaina Fantaski kicked off her sophomore season at Colorado with a milestone.
The Buffaloes javelin thrower set a personal-best throw of 46.37 meters which was the top mark in the event Friday at the Dr. Dan Caprioglio Invitational, hosted by CSU Pueblo.
That mark beat a personal best she reached during the PAC-12 Championships last spring.

During her time at NA, Fantaski became a school record holder. She had a first-place finish at the WPIAL Championships and a second-place mark at the PIAA State Championships. The 2023 NA grad was also a member of back-to-back WPIAL Team Track and Field Championships with the Tigers.
