Three former North Allegheny boys soccer players are making a difference as members of a new professional indoor soccer club here in Pittsburgh. Josh and Jamie Luchini join Bridge City FC co-owner and player Grant Glorioso on a roster rooted in Pittsburgh.

Last Saturday, the team played its inaugural match as Major League Indoor Soccer members on the road against Fort Wayne. Bridge City FC came away with an exciting 9-8 comeback victory.  The first goal in team history was scored by Josh Luchini, who played soccer collegiately at Lehigh and Pitt. His older brother Jamie, who also attended Lehigh,  scored four goals, including the game-winner with five seconds left. He also registered an assist in the game.  Glorioso, who was a Robert Morris grad and currently serves as a men’s soccer coach at Duquesne, plays goalie.

Glorioso founded Bridge City FC with fellow area players Jack Shrearer and Josh DiMatteo.  The new team is back in action on December 13th for its home opener at the Sewickley Sport Arena against Lansing. Kickoff for the match is slated for 7:00 p.m.
