Indoor Track & Field claims two titles at TSTCA Indoor Championships
North Allegheny traveled to Edinoboro University to take part in the TSTCA Indoor Championships on Saturday. The Tigers had 10 athletes finish in the top eight including winning two events.
For the girls, Maya Currie was the fifth-place finisher in the 800-meter. Lily Ries claimed fifth place in the One Mile Run while freshman Samantha Strelick won the 3000-meter. Eva Pesci finished seventh in the high jump while Lindsay Breneman claimed the pole vault title. Audrey Maxwell ended the day in sixth in the shot put.
For the boys, Greg Gedman finished in seventh in the 200-meter dash. Sam Cohn had a fourth-place finish in the 60-meter hurdles while the NA 4×200-meter relay team finished in second. Aidan D’Errico claimed seventh in the high jump and Peter Gibson finished eighth in the triple jump.

The Tigers return to action on Sunday when they travel to Penn State University to take part in the PTFCA Indoor Championships. Events are scheduled to begin at 10 a.m.
