Isabella Costa Named to A-10 Outdoor Track and Field All-Rookie Team

Following a successful freshman campaign, former North Allegheny multi-sport athlete Isabella Costa has earned another honor this spring.
Costa was one of a program-record six members of the Duquesne Track and Field Team to be named to the Atlantic 10 Outdoor All-Rookie Team.

Costa made the team after participating in the High Jump & Heptathlon during the outdoor season.
She and teammate Brandi Brozeski shared the Atlantic 10 freshman lead in the high jump after each cleared 1.64 meters during the heptathlon at the A-10 Championships, where both scored points for the Dukes. Costa also led conference freshmen in the heptathlon with 4,722 points, placing fifth overall and moving to fourth on the Duquesne all-time leaderboard.
The outdoor season success followed a very strong indoor season this winter for Costa with the Dukes, where she also secured a spot on the conference all-rookie team.
