Kardos Named PAC Golfer of the Week

Former North Allegheny golfer and current Grove City College junior Lauren Kardos earned Presidents’ Athletic Conference Women’s Golfer of the Week honors Tuesday after her recent performance at Allegheny College’s Guy & Jeanne Kuhn Memorial Invitational.
Kardos finished sixth at the two-day event on September 21-22 by compiling a combined score of 151. Her score of 73 tied for the low round over the first 18 holes of the tournament. Kardos then hit a 78 in the second round.
This is Kardos’s second Golfer of the Week award this fall after earning the honor September 9 for her efforts at the Thiel Invitational in Hermitage.
Last season, Kardos captured PAC Second Team All-Conference honors after finishing 10th overall in the spring conference championship. She shot the tournament’s low round on day two with a 79. She shot 91 on day one and finished the tournament with a four-round score of 351.
