Katie Rose Rankin Named PAC Newcomer of the Year for Women’s Golf
Former North Allegheny golf standout and current freshman at Westminster College, Katie Rose Rankin, was named the Presidents’ Athletic Conference Newcomer of the Year on Saturday. She finished in third place at the PAC Women’s Golf Championships with a four-round score of 329 at Mill Creek Golf Course. Rankin carded back-to-back 78’s Friday and Saturday.
Her performance helped the Westminster Titans win their sixth-straight PAC team title and eighth overall. Rankin also earned First-Team All-PAC recognition.
