Lady Tigers Bounce Bridgers For Section Win
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team defeated the Ambridge Bridgers at Fox Run Golf Course on Tuesday afternoon, 148-262. The 148 strokes are a season best for the Tigers.
Senior Caroline Wrigley had a spectacular day by posting a 5-under par 31, consisting of three birdies and an eagle. Senior Christina Lewis shot a 38 and junior Esha Vaidya tallied a 39. Junior Bella Walter chipped in with a 40. Ambridge was led by Dinah Bailey who shot a 64.
North Allegheny improves to 4-0 overall and 2-0 in section play. The Lady Tigers will next take on Moon on Thursday at Diamond Run, the host site for this year’s WPIAL individual finals later in the year.
