Lady Tigers Dazzle In Section Win Over Fox Chapel
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team turned in another impressive performance on Thursday afternoon, beating Fox Chapel at Shannopin Golf Club in their section opener by the score of 169-186. The Lady Tigers turned in their lowest score in the last two years in the victory.
Leading the scorecard was freshman Christina Lewis with a sparkling 38. Fellow freshman Caroline Wrigley shot a 41 to aid in the victory. The two newcomers continue to impress on a veteran laden team that is anchored by seniors Megan Leto, Sophia Lee, Katrina Good and Jesse Pak. Fox Chapel was led by Ciera Miller who shot a 42.
North Allegheny improves to 3-0 on the season and 1-0 in section play. The Lady Tigers will visit Upper St. Clair on Monday at 3:30 pm.
