Lady Tigers Roll To An 11th Place Finish At WPIBL Championships
The North Allegheny girls’ bowling squad took 11th place at the WPIBL championships on Thursday afternoon. The Lady Tigers finished with a team score of 2196. The Norwin Knights claimed the top spot by knocking down 2691 pins.
Leading the way for the Lady Tigers was Courtney Weber with a series score of 515. Weber also had the single-game high for the team with a 196 in game two. Brandy Martin had a strong day with a 486 and Kristen Kovalchik followed with a 401 series.
Carly Kovalchik notched a series score of 374. Julie Ostronic bowled two games for a combined score of 315. Allison Frank rolled one game and posted a 105.
