Lady Tigers Upend Upper St. Clair, 155-187
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team posted its second straight victory to begin the 2018 season with a 155-187 triumph over Upper St. Clair in non-section action. Senior Caroline Wrigley led the way with a 1-under 35 at Pittsburgh North Golf Course. Senior Christina Lewis tallied a 37, followed by junior Esha Vaidya who shot a 40. Bella Walter chipped in with a 43 and Christina Zhou shot a 49. Upper St. Clair’s Sara Steve led the Panthers with a score of 40.
The Lady Tigers sit at 2-0 on the young season. North Allegheny will meet Seneca Valley this afternoon in the section opener.
