Lauren Harris Named All-PAC At Grove City
Grove City College senior and former North Allegheny catcher, Lauren Harris, was named First-Team All-First Team All-Presidents’ Athletic Conference this week after helping the Wolverines to a program-record 25 victories in 2024.
Harris, the only senior in Grove City’s regular defensive lineup, anchored the Wolverines from the catcher position. She handled a youthful pitching staff that featured two freshmen and Brodie, who pitched sparingly in her first two seasons.
Offensively, Harris hit .351 overall this spring. She scored 26 runs and drove in 24 runs, ranking second on the team in both categories. Her 40 hits ranked third on the team. Harris hit .424 with five doubles and 14 runs batted in during conference play. It is Harris’s first All-PAC honor.
Grove City went 12-8 in conference play, then went 2-2 in last weekend’s season-ending conference tournament. The Wolverines won 21 games last year, setting the previous program record.
