Rumpler went 4-0 in her collegiate debut. She won her first match by injury default over Claudia Mendez of NAIA Rio Grande after leading 4-0. In the quarterfinals, she faced Meghan Werbrich of NAIA Campbellsville (KY). This was a rematch of the 2024 Pittsburgh Wrestling Classic, where Werbrich came out the winner with a 9-5 decision. Rumpler wasted little time this time around and after taking a 6-0 lead after 26 seconds, was able to secure the fall in 54 seconds to advance. Waiting in the semifinals was Bo Geibe of NAIA Indiana Tech, the returning NAIA National Championship 5th Place finisher. Geibe scored an early point to go ahead 1-0 before Rumpler scored 12 unanswered points to secure the technical fall and move onto the finals. Rumpler and Trinity Barrus of Bethany (WV), the 2024 Montana High School State runner-up, traded points in the first period before Rumpler broke open a 4-4 tie to take the lead 8-4 and then secured the win with another pin in a minute and 56 seconds.
