ESPN’s Pete Thamel added Leftwich has been in the mix for three power conference offensive coordinator jobs this cycle and landed at Texas Tech.
Just last week, Leftwich was named a nominee for the Broyles Award. The accolade is an annual honor given to the best assistant coach in college football. It was the second consecutive season the NA grad was up for the award.
