Manesiotis Advances to 2nd Round of WPIAL Individual Tournament
North Allegheny senior Megan Manesiotis took part in round one the WPIAL Class AAA girls’ golf individual championships on Tuesday afternoon at Diamond Run Golf Course and advanced into round two next week.
Manesiotis finished in 10th place with a total score of 86 at the par 72 course, including a strong finish with a 42 on the back nine. With the top 36 golfers qualifying for the next round, Manesiotis easily advanced to the second round of the WPIAL championships on Oct. 4 at Diamond Run.
