NA Boys’ Bowling Team Takes 3rd Place At WPIBL Championships
The North Allegheny boys earned a third place finish at the WPIBL Bowling Championships on Wednesday with a team score of 3030. The Tigers were edged out by Moon who claimed first place with a team score of 3084, and Butler who totaled a collective score of 3080.
North Allegheny was led by Steve Warych and Rob Thieret who each posted a series score of 623. Thieret had the top game-high score of the day for the Tigers with a 246 in game one. Jordan Mangione had a strong showing with a series score of 614 and Noah Frank followed with a series score of 608. Ryan McGurgan rolled two games and totaled a 406. Jake Sevcik rolled one game with a score of 156.
The Lady Tigers bowling team is in action today at the WPIBL Girls’ Bowling Championship.
