NA Boys Take 2nd Place at Indoor Track & Field Championships
The North Allegheny Indoor Track & Field Team had a strong showing at the TSTCA Indoor Championship Meet at Edinboro University on Saturday. The NA Boys took second place with a team score of 59, and the Lady Tigers finished in 14th place with a team score of 14.
For the NA Boys, several Tigers earned silver medals, including Cordon Louco who finished in second place in the 1 Mile Run. Dan Madler (high jump), Bobby Upton (pole vault), Fritz Isaac (triple jump), and Matt McGoey (3000 meter run) all claimed silver medals. Along with McGoey’s second place finish in the 3000 meter run, Hunter Wharrey followed closely behind in the competition for a fourth place showing. Isaac not only medaled in the triple jump but also took home fourth place in the 60 meter hurdles.
For the Lady Tigers, Madeleine Davison was the top finisher by taking first place in the Girls 3000 meter run.
