NA Caps Regular Season With 5th Straight Win
Ending the season with a bang, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team traveled to Fox Chapel Golf Club to face off against Shady Side Academy in the regular season finale and earned a 204-231 victory. The victory was North Allegheny’s fifth in a row to end the 2023 campaign.
Leading the way for the Tigers was sophomore Kayli Dings with a low score of 47. Sophomore Kirsten Karlovits carded a 50, followed by senior Amber Roth with a 53. Sophomore Omisa Shah rounded out the scoring with a 54. Senior Megan Gross also participated with a score of 59.
With win, North Allegheny caps the team portion of the 2023 season with a 6-9 record. Senior Megan Manesiotis will represent the Tigers at second round of the WPIAL Class AAA individual tournament on Wednesday, Oct. 4 at Diamond Run Golf Course.
