NA Downed by Pine-Richland In Section Contest
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team gave a strong effort but came up just short on Tuesday afternoon as visiting Pine-Richland defeated the Tigers, 182-187, at Diamond Run Golf Course.
Sophomore Kayli Dings put together another fine round to lead the Tigers with a team-low score of 42. Sophomore Kristen Karlovits shot a 44, followed by senior Amber Roth with a 47. Senior Megan Gross rounded out the scoring with a 54. Pine-Richland was led by Sydney Fluhrer, who was the clubhouse leader with a score of 41.
North Allegheny slides to 1-7 overall and 1-4 in section play. The Tigers look to bounce back on Friday with a non-section matchup at Upper St. Clair.
