NA Edges Seneca Valley For 2nd Straight Section Win
After a 176-179 win over Blackhawk in the section opener last week, the North Allegheny girls’ golf team won its second straight match by the very same score with a three-stroke triumph over Seneca Valley.
On the road at Connoquenessing Country Club, the Tigers were paced by senior Sissi Hai, who carded a team-best 41. Juniors Katie Rose Rankin and Lauren Kardos each shot a 44, while sophomore Megan Manesiotis added a 47. Seneca Valley’s Lihini Ranaweera was the clubhouse leader with a low score of 37.
With the win, North Allegheny improves to 5-1 overall and 2-0 in section play. The Tigers will visit Moon in another section matchup on Wednesday.
