NA Flourishes, Fox Chapel Fizzles In Section Matchup
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team took on the Fox Chapel Foxes at the prestigious Pittsburgh Field Club course and came away with a section victory, 163-214.
Junior Caroline Wrigley led the scorecard with a 1-under par 35 thanks to a four-birdie effort. Another great performance was delivered by sophomore Bella Walter who posted a 40. Christina Lewis followed with a 42, Esha Vaidya totaled a 46, Jordan Farrell added a 47 and Christina Zhou rounded out the day with a 48. The Field Club is a difficult track and the Tigers’ score of 163 is a low number at this course. Fox Chapel was led by Hannah Conroy with a 41.
North Allegheny improves to 5-0 overall and 1-0 in section play. The Tigers will take on Seneca Valley on Wednesday from the Pittsburgh North Course at 3:30 p.m.
