NA Girls’ Golf Spectacular Again In Defeat Of USC, 149-179
The North Allegheny girls’ golf team faced a strong opponent on the road on Monday afternoon and delivered another astonishing early season performance with a 149-179 victory over the Upper St. Clair Panthers. The win gave another peak at the potential of what the 2015 Lady Tigers can do.
Freshman Caroline Wrigley led the way with a one-under par 34. Seniors Megan Leto and Sophia Lee added good days on the green as each scored a 37. Freshman Christina Lewis carded a 41 and senior Jesse Pak scored at 43. Upper St. Clair was paced by Bella Petrone and Ellizabeth Engle who each tallied a 39.
The Lady Tigers record soars to 4-0 on the season with the non-section win. North Allegheny returns to section action on Tuesday with a match at Shaler. Tee time is at 3:45 pm.
